NOTICES & ALERTS
Understanding an Unusually High-Water Bill
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING HIGH WATER BILLS & SERVICE POLICY
If you receive a higher-than-normal water bill, you are responsible for taking the following steps:
- Verify Your Meter Reading
Compare the reading on your water meter to the reading shown on your billing statement. Please note: your monthly bill reflects previous water usage. Water must be used before it is billed. - Check for Water Flow
Most meters include a red dial that indicates water movement. If the dial is moving, water is actively flowing through the meter. The faster the movement, the greater the usage.
Ensure all faucets, toilets, and water-using appliances are completely turned off when performing this check. - Incorrect Meter Reading
If you believe the meter reading on your bill is incorrect, you must contact the office immediately. - Correct Meter Reading
If the meter reading is correct, you may request a meter test by contacting the office.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
- All plumbing and water lines beyond the meter (including lines leading to and within the home) are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Lily Rose Water Association employees are strictly prohibited from inspecting, repairing, or diagnosing leaks on the customer’s side of the meter during company time.
